Everyone is automatically a member of the FoR and your support and involvement is always welcomed, actively encouraged and essential!
The Friends of Ravenstone has a central committee which is elected on an annual basis.  This year, the committee is made up of 5 parents and together with a committed network of class and staff representatives, volunteer their time to ensure we have a fabulous fundraising year full of fun events.
The FoR Committee
The committee has responsibility for the overall running and management of the FoR.
• 2016 Joint Chairpersons – Jon Windus, Caroline Hegan
• 2016 Joint Vice Chairpersons – Lucy Thacker and Coleen Rojas
• 2016 Secretary – Louise Hake
We aim to have a FoR meeting once a half term where everyone is welcome.  We are always looking for fresh ideas so if you are interested in planning an event or have an idea for something new, or just want to come along for a cup of tea and to meet new people, please look out on the notice boards around the school for details on the next FoR meeting.
Class Representatives
The role of the “class rep” is to communicate fundraising information to parents and carers in their class; recruit volunteers for events, (which may mean helping run an event), maintain a class contacts list and to have fun with your fellow parents & carers!   Many Class Reps run informal social events each term.
