At Ravenstone we believe in utilising everything that technology offers, it can inspire and motivate and allows us access to global information. However this has an element of risk. We recognise that we need to enable all members of the school community to feel confident that they can manage these potential risks in the digital world as well as the ‘real’ world and our approach is to educate rather than 'block and ban’ as it isn’t possible to eliminate all risk.Article Image

Online Safety Week

We teach Online Safety as part of the Computing curriculum and every year we   highlight this important aspect of the curriculum by running an Online Safety Week.

As part of this there was an information evening for parents on February 8th given by MarkiHolliday,Deputy Head of Education Inclusion Service (Behaviour & Attendance)  . Click here for a PDF of the presentation.
